Boise Church of Christ in Boise is a non-denominational group of Christians who are committed to upholding the truth of God’s word and proclaiming the good news of His grace. We are drawn together in love by our mutual faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We are united by our common acceptance of Jesus’ Lordship in our lives, even as we may disagree in other matters. Members are baptized believers who have made a conscious decision to follow Jesus by caring for one another and for all people that we have opportunity to assist.
But enough about us.
Let’s follow Jesus together.
First and foremost, the church should be a gathering of likeminded believers for the purpose of encouraging one another to keep following Jesus. The writer of Hebrews encouraged the first century Christians not to stop meeting together, and over 2,000 years later, here we are. Yet in that time, it seems that tradition has taken our eye off of Jesus. In our modern, busy lifestyle, what we do “in church” has taken the place of actually being the church 24/7.
Here at Boise Church of Christ, we are constantly trying to bring each other back to the simplicity of following Jesus. We make no claim to be great at it. But we want to be, and we figure the best way to do that is by walking through life together, learning from God’s truths together, and spurring one another on to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24-25 – And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Lord. Love. Learn. Live.
At Boise Church of Christ, we are focusing our discipleship efforts on what we call the four L’s: Lord, Live, Learn, and Love. Come join with us to explore these together and grow in our faith as a church family.
