Our Mission: To participate with Jesus in fulfilling his great commission to make mature disciples.
Matt 28: 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NASB)
We believe Jesus is God (the one and only Creator) incarnate. The Bible is the Word of God, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ our Savior and explaining God’s plan to live by, which is to reconcile all mankind back to God through Jesus. John 14: 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (NASB)
Disciples are immersed in water, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, as an appeal to God for a clean conscience, to be clothed with JESUS, to be buried and raised to a new life and to receive the Holy Spirit, by the working of God. (1Pet 3:21; Gal 3: 27; Col 2:11-12; Rom 6; Acts 2:38)
The church is the Body of Christ where we are united together in doing the Father’s work. We meet together on Sundays to participate together in the Lord’s Supper, study the Word of God and encourage one another toward maturity in Christ. We welcome all visitors to the Boise Church of Christ – where church is family.
We use 4 key words to help us focus on our mission, called the 4 L’s – LORD, LOVE, LEARN, LIVE. We want to know the LORD and His will, proclaim and share His LOVE, LEARN through His Word and by relationships, and LIVE by Jesus’ example.
